I was recently interviewed at Notre Dame Day 2017 as national chair for ND Women Connect. I am the first national chair and I’ve been leading the group for 3 years as we’ve grown from 55 groups around the country to 95 — phenomenal growth! ND Women Connect’s mission is to nurture, support and give back to ND alumnae. We use a grassroots approach — asking, listening and then taking action based on the interests/needs of the local alumnae. It’s very empowering to be listened to, and supported, so local groups have really flourished.
ND Women Connect was instrumental in helping me transition to a financial planning practice from my CPA background. The ND alumnae support—going above and beyond—made all the difference in guiding me to this profession that I love.
